Service description:
The Gatehouse Community Alcohol Team is a specialist Multi-disciplinary team providing a tier three service, offering a range of evidenced based alcohol treatment interventions for clients affected by alcohol misuse, and their families. Offering comprehensive assessment and care planned alcohol treatment through a structured programme of treatment models covering psychosocial therapies and pharmacological treatment within a range of care pathways. To help facilitate positive behavioural change, matching clinical needs to treatment interventions, ultimately working towards the client’s own goal.
Care pathways offered include abstinence, harm minimisation and controlled drinking.
Client Group Served & Eligibility:
People who are concerned about their alcohol consumption getting out of control
People who feel that they have already developed an alcohol problem
People whose family and friends are already affected by their alcohol intake
People registered with a GP in Ealing or for those people not registered with a GP but reside in the borough of Ealing
People aged 18 years and above. People over 65 are supported by the Alcohol Service through joint working with such services as the Older Persons Teams.

The Gatehouse Community Alcohol Team is located in the grounds of the St Bernard’s Hospital, Uxbridge Road, Southall, Middlesex UB1 3EU.
