Service description:Chelsea and Westminster Hospital
The Kensington and Chelsea Drug Treatment Centre provides a range of specialist outpatient health care interventions for individuals and families who are affected by the misuse of drugs and alcohol.

The service is for people aged 16 and over who are primarily opiate dependent and who wish to engage in medium to long-term treatment (maximum of 2 years) in the community.

We provide an individualised multi-disciplinary treatment programme for opiate and multiple drug users. Treatment may also include referral and access to an inpatient detoxification unit and longer-term residential rehabilitation.

The service is accessible via referrals from the Kensington and Chelsea Community Assessment and Primary Services (CAPS) for Drugs and Alcohol (020 8746 5800).

Treatment is provided to people living in the Kensington and Chelsea borough or who are registered with a GP within the borough.
