Service description:
The CaravanThe Caravan Project is a unique service that operates within a harm minimisation philosophy. Our aim is to provide a wide range of services including needle exchange, health advice and treatment, complementary therapies, crisis intervention, key working, legal advice, housing advice and benefit agency information for those excluded and disadvantaged by substance use.

  • The primary function of the Project is to reduce the harm associated with drug use. We offer clean equipment, swabs and condoms.
  • There is a drop-in service with tea and coffee provided and a comfortable seating area for clients to relax in.
  • There is a staff member in this area at all times available for information and advice.
  • A Qualified Clinical Nurse Specialist, a Consultant Psychiatrist and a doctor are also available.
  • We offer our clients a range of complimentary therapies such as acupuncture, aromatherapy, massage and Reiki healing on a weekly basis. Appointments can be booked in advance.
