CNWL has recently produced a range of information leaflets for service users and carers that give useful information on medicines prescribed  for mental health conditions. Please ask your care co-ordinator or key nurse for details.

Medicines Helpline

The aim of the Medicines Helpline is to support CNWL patients and/or carers with medicines related problems following outpatient attendance or discharge from hospital.

People can call the helpline to discuss any queries or questions they have regarding medication with one of our mental health pharmacists. Examples of questions could include:

  • What is my medicine for?
  • How long will it take for my medicine to work?
  • Will my medicine cause side effects?
  • Is it safe to take with the other medicines I take?

The helpline can be contacted Monday-Friday, between 9am-1pm & 2pm –4pm on, 020 8206 7270.
