A CNWL occupational therapist (OT) has been featured in the latest edition of The OT magazine.
Farzana Karim penned ‘A day in the life of’ article for the niche magazine, popular amongst OTs in the UK.
She writes passionately about her daily adventures as an OT working across three teams - Rapid Response, Rapid Early Discharge Service and Post-Acute Care Enablement in Camden.
“The best part of my job is assessing patients in their own home environment and keeping them there... Patients enjoy telling their stories and I enjoy listening to their life experiences. I have met one of the first Concorde test pilots, Baronesses, Ladies and Lords, journalists who have written for eminent newspapers and patients who have been employed in the same role for over 40 years,” she writes.
