Transferring your care to Bloomsbury Clinic
If you would like to transfer your care from another clinic you do not need a referral, just ring 020 3317 5100 and ask for a Bloomsbury transfer appointment.
If you already attend the Bloomsbury Clinic, telephone the number above to make a follow-up appointment. We offer appointments five days a week with two late evenings, Tuesday and Thursday. Along with face to face appointments with our doctors and specialist nurses, we offer a range of email and telephone clinic options, please discuss which would be suitable for you with your clinician.
We offer a number of walk-in services including blood tests, a nurse clinic and an urgent clinic. Please be aware that while we endeavour to see all patients on the day these clinics can get very busy and at times we have limited space available. Walk-in services may need to close early at short notice.
In response to patient feedback regarding waiting times for bloods, we have introduced a new booked blood service. This runs alongside our walk-in service.
We trialled this recently with great results and positive feedback from patients.
To book your blood appointment, please call 020 3317 5100 and select option 1.
For sexual health screening and vaccinations.
If we have diagnosed you with an infection, we will offer you an appointment for treatment.
If you already attend the Bloomsbury Clinic and have an urgent problem that is HIV-related, then you can come in to see the duty doctor who will assess you. If your problem is not HIV-related you will be redirected to a more appropriate service by one of our nurses. If you are unsure whether your problem is HIV-related or would like some advice, you can telephone the clinic on 020 3317 5143 during the hours shown below.
As with all walk-in services the urgent clinic can become very busy which extends waiting times. We can normally find you a booked appointment with a doctor within one week if you call 020 3317 5100.
