Young people - 'clinic in a box'

Our sexual health ‘clinic in a box’ provides free and confidential NHS services for young people aged under 25 in Hillingdon.

Services are provided in colleges, and include:

  • Free, confidential advice about sexual health and contraception
  • Provision of contraceptive methods and referral for contraceptive implants / IUDs
  • Emergency contraception
  • Referral for termination of pregnancy
  • Post-abortion follow-up
  • Screening for chlamydia and gonorrhoea, and chlamydia treatment
  • One-to-one support for vulnerable young people with an outreach nurse

Eligibility criteria (who is the service for?)

All our ‘clinic in a box’ services are for young people aged under 25. Some services are only for students attending the college at which the service is provided; check each location below for details.

How can someone be referred?

You do not need a referral from a general practitioner (GP) or healthcare professional to access the service.

Can I use NHS e-Referral (formerly Choose and Book) to arrange my first outpatient appointment?

NHS e-Referral is not applicable to this service.
