Sexual problems assessment and treatment services
Our Sexual problems assessment and treatment services provide a psychological and medical service for people experiencing sexual difficulties.
We provide a combined psychological and medical assessment, often followed by sessions of psychosexual therapy (a short-term 'talking treatment'), medical treatment or a combination of the two, as appropriate.
Some of the common difficulties that people seek help with are:
- Erectile problems
- Loss of interest in sex
- Problems reaching orgasm
- Difficulties with penetration
We can also help with many other difficulties too.
We provide support for people with concerns about
- Managing safer sex
- Managing Chemsex
- Coping with an STI (eg HSV or HPV)
Referrals to SPATS and Psychology can be made by any member of staff working in our sexual health services. We do not accept self-referrals.
For details of eligibility criteria and referrals, see Camden Sexual Problems Assessment and Treatment Service (SPATS)
