Recruitment Day for healthcare staff at Immigration Removal Centre Heathrow

19 February 2018

Are you an exceptional nurse looking for a rewarding new challenge?

Would you like the opportunity to use your nursing skills in an environment like no other to make a real difference every day? Interested? Attend our Heathrow IRC Recruitment Open Day.

We are seeking Band 5 Primary Care Nurses to work in our Immigration Removal Centre Heathrow.

To find out more, join us on Saturday 3 March 2018 from 10am to 4pm at the Premier Inn Hotel, Heathrow where staff will be on hand to tell you more.

You will join a team who not only look after the healthcare needs of the centre residents, but who also have the opportunity to have a real impact on promoting health and wellbeing.

The Immigration Removal Centre at Heathrow is based across two sites (Harmondsworth and Colnbrook) and holds about 1,000 men and a small number of women.

CNWL provide primary care, mental health services and substance misuse services and are an integral part of the wider IRC team working closely with MITIE and the Home Office.

Work within the Primary Care Team is varied and includes triaging, emergency care and treatment, health promotion, end of life/palliative care, effective care planning and liaising with the multidisciplinary team. It’s this variety that keeps things interesting and stimulating.

Every day will bring new challenges and new experiences, but you’ll have all the support you need to deliver the best care.
