DFSRH - Clinical experience and assessment
We are only able to accept applications for the DFSRH clinical experience and assessment from clinicians on a substantive contract working in Camden or Islington.
If you do not work in one of these areas please contact the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare or phone 020 7724 5647 to find out who coordinates the delivery of this training in your area.
If you are not employed by CNWL, you must provide additional documentation before you are permitted to see patients within our service. Please contact Ceri Gifford, Training Administration Manager for more information.
Timetabling your practical training
Once you have been accepted for the training programme, the training administrator will contact you to identify suitable sessions for you to attend. You will then be sent a draft timetable to review and approve.
You will be scheduled 15 hours of clinical training sessions. Contraceptive sessions are delivered at Margaret Pyke Centre (Camden), Archway Centre (Islington) and in our community clinics in Camden and Islington from Monday to Friday only.
If we need to reschedule your training due to clinic or staffing changes, we will give you as much notice as possible and we will aim to reschedule your sessions at a convenient time for you.
Fees
The fee for the clinical experience and assessment is £600. This is in addition to the fees payable to the FSRH for the e-portfolio, eKA, yearly subscription to the FSRH and registration of the diploma.
For an application form and payment details please contact Ceri Gifford, Training Administration Manager.
