Our latest Hidden Gem Award winners
1 June 2017
Farida Nagree has been announced as one of our latest Hidden Gem Award winners.
Farida (pictured right), is a Business Support Officer and Information Analyst for Harrow Mental Health Services, based in Northwick Park Hospital.
She is responsible for monitoring and updating teams for Harrow Performance (as a borough) and works closely with the Harrow Local Authority to submit performance and information reports.
During the five years she has been employed in the role Farida says: "the best part of my role is seeing the teams develop and change to meet all targets, their can-do attitudes is inspiring and encourages me every day."
Farida was nominated by her manager, Joan Allison (pictured left), who describes her as"a brilliant and excellent team player, extremely helpful and always goes the extra mile to assist her team and other colleagues in any way she can."
Farida was speechless at winning the award, and looks at her colleagues in the same manner as a "special gem' because she would not be the person she is without their support.
Audrey Houston-Thomas has won a Hidden Gem Award.
Audrey Houston-Thomas, a healthcare assistant based on Pine Ward, Park Royal Centre for Mental
Health, was nominated by a patient who said "she goes above and beyond to support and care for others and takes the time to really get to know people".
She was presented with the award on the team's away day and describes winning as such a lovely feeling when both patient and work colleagues recognise she's doing a good job.
Working in the Trust since 2014, Audrey describes the best part of her job is talking and reassuring patients and seeing their faces light up and smile.
