Read more about school nursing servicesEligibility criteria (who is the service for?)
The service supports children and young people aged four to 18 attending mainstream and special schools in Camden.
How can someone be referred?
Generally, children are transferred to the School Nursing Service from the Health Visiting Service once they reach five years old, or schools highlight healthcare needs to their named school nurse so a referral is not necessary.
Can I use NHS E-Referral (formerly Choose and B ook) to arrange my first outpatient appointment?
No. The service is delivered in schools so an appointment is not necessary.
