Brent Older People Day Hospital runs a therapeutic group programme to support people in maintaining their independence in the community.

The service also supports early discharge from hospital and provide some respite to carers. In addition the service conducts outreach work, such as visiting service users at home.

The service is able to support people who:

  • Are over the age of 18.
  • Are a resident of Brent or registered with a general practitioner (GP) in Brent.

People are usually referred to Day Services by a community mental health team (CMHT) once the individual has been assessed.

People are unable to directly refer themselves to day services and the team is unable to offer a walk-in service. The service is currently unable to accept referrals via Choose and Book.

The service is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (closed on public holidays)
