Child and adolescent mental health

Child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) are for children aged 0-18 and their families who are experiencing mental health problems.

These services are mostly provided in the community, but we also have a specialist inpatient service for children aged five to 13. We also provide perinatal services to new mothers experiencing mental health problems.

Service types:

We also have a Community Eating Disorders Service for Children and Young People which offers help and support to children and young people aged 17 or under who have a suspected or confirmed eating disorder diagnosis.
