Dr Frances Connan, Consultant Psychiatrist


Frances has worked in the service for 10 years as a consultant psychiatrist and is the Clinical Director for Vincent Square Eating Disorder Service. She trained in eating disorders at the Bethlem and Maudsley and completed a PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry.

Frances has published a number of chapters and peer-reviewed articles, and presented at conferences both nationally and internationally. She is member of the Executive and Academic Secretary for the Eating Disorder Section of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and has played a lead role in the development of the Quality Assurance Network for Eating Disorders (QED).
