Last week the Quality Improvement (QI) Team delivered their first virtual QI magazine, which is an online interactive session to hear the latest developments from QI projects across the Trust, as well as a place for attendees to learn more about QI tools and get involved in discussions relating to QI.

Dr Simon Edwards, CNWL’s QI Clinical Lead and Alison Butler, CNWL’s QI Programme Director, hosted the QI Magazine where a total of 14 attendees were present.

During the session Shannon Ward shared their improvement journey as the current QI project on the ward comes to an end this month, they shared the challenges they encountered and the successes they achieved during the project.

The CNWL Pharmacy Team was also present, they talked about how they achieved their project aim to improve the efficiency in the way they supply medicines to 133 wards and clinics across the Trust.

In the session, the many QI tools project teams can use to assist their improvement journey (such as visual displays boards) were explored and attendees partook in discussions about meaningful service user and carer engagement in QI.

The session also included light hearted learning elements with everyone in the session sharing their favourite Plan Do Study Act cycle of the month.
