Here are some examples of local organisations in Brent that you and your family might find useful. These are not CAMHS services and are therefore run independently from CAMHS.

Addaction Brent
Support for people with drug- and alcohol-related issues. Offering a drop-in service, advice and information.

Brent Bereavement Services (BBS)
Supports people who have lost someone they care about.

Brent Centre for Young People (BCYP)
Offers a number of talking therapies for young people. BCYP also offer support sessions which give parents and carers the opportunity to talk about the help their son or daughter needs.

Brent Women’s Aid
Confidential advice, support and information for women affected by domestic abuse.

Brent Young Carers
Supports carers, offering local confidential support and information, including practical advice, local services directory and carers events.

The Cove

The Cove is a community based crisis alternative service, provided by Hestia on behalf of CNWL, offering non-clinical support to individuals experiencing a crisis or mental distress, following assessment by the identified CNWL services. We offer urgent appointments to make sure each person gets dedicated time and support.
