At Eastlake and Ferneley psychiatric wards, a fragmented medical records system was putting pressure on staff and patient care. Through a Quality Improvement project, we introduced a new visualisation tool to simplify key processes like admissions and discharges. The results were striking: a dramatic drop in admin time and improved staff satisfaction. By redesigning how information is accessed and used, we made space for what matters most: time with patients.
