New Beginnings is an integrated service delivered by  Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) in partnership with Westminster Drug Project (WDP)  and B3 (Brent Service User Council).

About the programme

New Beginnings (Formerly the Addiction Recovery and Clinical Centre) helps people in Brent who want to break a cycle of addiction to substances such as heroin, club drugs, other types of stimulants or long term alcohol addiction.

It represents the bringing together of a variety of services under one roof to provide a better service to service users.

These are the Brent Clinical Prescribing Team; the Recovery Day Programme; a Care Planned Counselling Service; and Peer Support Practitioners and Peer Recovery Workers.

How to access our services

The service is free and open to all Brent residents aged 18 or over, as well as their families and carers.  Any professional, such as housing support worker, social worker or nurse, can make the referral on your behalf.

You can also visit our service in person or contact us by phone.  You will be able to talk to one of our duty team who will help you decide which service best meets your needs.
