From Harrow Voices Together:
Harrow Voices Together, since its inception in June 2020, are celebrating their one-year anniversary.
They are the vehicle for bringing people together; where all efforts are made for staff wellbeing during this very difficult time of Covid-19. We in the Harrow Mental Health Services sadly lost many of our loved ones.
We also experienced the brutal murder of George Floyd; an American citizen. Not only did this tragic event propel our nation into challenging the inequality and injustice within our communities, but we were challenged by these events as professionals/civilians delivering quality care for those in need; leaving us exposed, frightened and fearful. With the forever changing Covid-19 contingency planning, our dedication to our profession, we were able to step up and deliver.
We quickly noted that we needed more than just dedication to providing care, we needed to look after each other; hence forth we came up with these themes for celebrating each other; #WeAreAllInThisTogether, #BraveKindStrong, #JerusalemaDanceChallenge, #NHSHeroes, #InternationalNursesDay, #HarrowVoicesTogether, #BlackHistoryMonth, #BirthdayCelebrations, #Festivals.
Join us in celebrating our anniversary on Thursday 17 June at the Mental Health Unit at Northwick Park Hospital (Management Suites 1 and 2) between 3pm and 5pm. Our special guest is CNWL Divisional Managing Director: Ade Odunlade.
