CNWL’s Health and Justice Services has succeeded in its bid to provide healthcare for the Oasis Restore School in Medway, Kent.

The contract, which runs until the start of 2031, will see the Trust deliver care to 49 children and young people aged between 12 and 18 years old.

Patrick Gillespie, Service Director, said: “This is an exciting opportunity and builds on the skill and expertise within the Directorate.

“CNWL’s Health and Justice Team already provides integrated healthcare services across a number of secure environments, including within the Children and Young People Service Line at HMYOI Feltham and HMYOI Cookham Wood.”

A five-month mobilisation period will commence on 1 September 2023, with a full launch scheduled for February 2024.

Oasis Restore is a secure academy trust that provides care and education to children and young people in the youth custody system.

It seeks to provide a therapeutic and educational community that embeds hope, stability, and opportunity.
