The North West London Mental Health Partnership Programme want to work with patient and carer representatives to help support the Mental Health Rehabilitation Transformation Programme. This opportunity is for people with lived experience of:

  • Using CNWL mental health rehabilitation services within the last three years
  • Caring for someone who has used services in this time

The North West London Mental Health Partnership Programme is a joint collaborative between Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and West London Trust to deliver this objective of providing care closer to home, in the least restrictive setting.

The team are looking for passionate individuals, with lived experience, to contribute their expertise in a number of strategic areas, including improving clinical experience, options and availability of services, and reducing delays in care and support.

What will it involve?

The patient and carer representatives recruited will work flexibly together and bring their experiences (and the experiences of others) to support the programme. You can be involved in one or more of the following:

  • Be part of the transformation team supporting the strategic work which includes setting the direction of workstream developments and quality improvements. This will involve regular workstream meetings (1 hour, fortnightly or monthly), and a monthly transformation programme board (1 hour) which oversees this work.
  • Help design and develop new services across North West London, making sure new services are fit for purpose and meet the needs of people.
  • Improve the way we do things by attending visits, or reviewing the processes or data to design ways to improve them.
  • Help reach out to the wider community, reflect on how the Trust works with partners and be creative with ways of providing better services to people.
  • Co-design training packages for housing providers and partners so that people can be adequately supported in the community to reach their fullest potential.

More details on how to apply can be found here.
