Hillingdon Youth Offending Service (YOS) has received a Quality Mark from Achievement for All for their pilot project to identify the of Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) of young people known to the service.

Jennie Green, Speech and Language Therapist and Hannah Coles, Clinical Service Manager, who work for our Hillingdon Children's Integrated Therapy Service submitted evidence that identified '89% of young people assessed had SLCN.'

Marius Frank from Achievement For All advised that they would like to use the report as 'an example of outstanding practice' for other services and said: 

"Over the past three years, Achievement for All, in association with the Association of Youth Offending Team Managers, has been supporting youth justice teams all over the country to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEN in youth justice pathways."
