Loneliness affects many of us at one time or another and more so during the pandemic.

This week we’re encouraging everybody to take time out to talk to someone about how they’re feeling.

Sometimes talking to a professional can be helpful too. Our Talking Therapies services in London and Milton Keynes provide free and confidential treatment and therapy. If you’re feeling lonely, low, anxious, stressed, depressed or finding it difficult to cope then they are here to help.

Whether you are experiencing new mental health difficulties or a return of previous symptoms, support is available.

Visit our Talking Therapies website to access support in London and Milton Keynes and

  • Self-refer into the service within your borough and speak to a professional on video call or telephone
  • Complete a self-check questionnaire to assess your emotional wellbeing
  • Access the crisis line for urgent help
  • Access helpful FAQs and resources.

CNWL has also joined up with partners in other Talking Therapies services in Bedfordshire and Luton to run a campaign to highlight the support available in the wider Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes region. Together we provide free, fast and easy conversations with mental health professionals for all residents. Visit the website and fill in a short online form and the team will book you in for an appointment to discuss any difficulties you are having and the next steps to take.

There is no need for you to travel. They can speak to you on the phone or in a video consultation. If you would prefer to meet face-to-face then this can be arranged.

For self-help at home in BLMK, the Talking Therapies service is also running a series of webinars you can join at any time you need to. The sessions and links can be found on the Talking Therapies website.
