We are specialists working together to support a person’s mental health, making their wellbeing journey easier to navigate.

Each person will be treated as an individual and together we will create a care plan that is bespoke to you and your wellbeing.

Below you can find information about our hubs, including how to be referred and support for patients who have been referred and waiting for their first appointment.

Who we help

Our hubs are for adults (18+) who need support with their mental health. We support people with a range of mental health conditions.

We offer intervention-based care, which means we are focused on a persons recovery and offer evidence-based support we know will help, this can inlcude:

  • Talking therapies
  • Social support
  • Medication
  • Family and carer support
  • Working closely with GPs to give physical health support 
  • Employment support
  • And more 

The way we work is joined-up, this means we look at all areas of a person's life to see how we can help. This means we can offer support with talking therapies but also practical support with employment or housing at the same time, as it all contributes to someone's wellbeing.

We can't support people in a mental health crisis or those who need urgent support. If you are in a mental health crisis and need urgent support, you can click here for information on who to contact.

How to be referred?

Referrals to our hubs are made through healthcare professionals and social services. They can also be made through Milton Keynes Single Point of Access.

You can self-refer via 01908 724365 or your GP will refer you to us.  

In some cases it may be more suitable for people to receive support from Talking Therapies instead of being referred to one of our hubs. You can self-refer to Talking Therapies and they support people who feel anxious and worried or down and depressed. Find out more below:

How to get to Bletchley Community Hospital by:

Car

Bletchley Community Hospital is located towards the west of the town centre, on Whalley Drive.
There is free parking. 

Bus

Routes: 4, and the Loop bus.

There is a bus stop on Whalley Drive. 
 

Train

Bletchley is the nearest train station, with services to London, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton, Wolverton and many other locations operated by Southern Railways and London Midland.

Why are we moving?

The move is part of a wider plan to improve facilities and provide a more comfortable and supportive environment for clients in a dedicated building.

Is there car parking?

There are ample free parking spaces and numerous disabled parking spaces that are marked on the map.

What about accessible facilities?

The new building is all on one level, there are disabled facilities within the building.

How will this affect my appointments?

We will continue to offer delivery at other location throughout Milton Keynes and in the Community and will endeavour to offer appoint times to suit.

We will be providing the same services and care – its only the location that will be changing, your keyworker will remain the same.

When you're referred, we will contact you with details about the date and time of you first appointment, in this letter will be the full address of our hub and our contact number. We'll let you know the closest bus stop or train station so you can find us as easily as possible. Any questions please ask, we're happy to help guide you. 

 


Support for people who have been referred to our hub

Waiting for your first appointment can be stressful and we're working as hard as we can to see you as quickly as possible. In the meantime we have put together resources from organisations that you can go to for support and information on what to expect when you visit our hubs after referral.

We will send you a letter with the date and time of your first appointment. This letter will include the address of your Community Mental Health Hub and our contact details in case you need to get in touch. You can also access them here:

At your first appointment we will get to know you and learn more about how you're feeling and what you need help with, this is known as an assessment. Together, we will discuss what support we can offer and what you think will help, and create your care plan. The person you see for your assessment will be a mental health professional, this can be a mental health nurse, psychologist or psychiatrist. 

After your assessment we will give you the name of your named worker, this person will be most involved in your care and you can ask to speak to them if you ever need support.
