Our site at The Kingswood Centre in Brent is set in a therapeutic environment of green space with nature walks, a sensory garden and a fish pond. There are three inpatient units here:
- Carlton Ward (eight beds) – For adults with a learning disability and mental health difficulties who have more complex needs and require specialised care.
- Crystal House (five beds) – An inpatient unit for young people (aged 13 to 18 years) with a learning disability and mental health need.
- Acute Ward (eight beds) – An adult inpatient ward providing a safe and therapeutic environment for people with acute mental health problems.
Our staff teams have many years' experience of working with people with learning disabilities and mental health issues. We have a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, trained support workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, an occupational therapist, physiotherapists, a physical exercise coach, a speech and language therapist, a music therapist, an independent advocate and a range of administrative staff.
