This term, CNWL Arts in Health begins a four-month workshop series with cultural partner Two Temple Place. The collaboration is inspired by their new exhibition, The Glass Heart, which will launch in January 2024.
The exhibition is an exploration of glass in the UK, bringing together for the very first time rarely seen works from collections across the UK and celebrating the remarkable quality of glass as fragile, strong, and sustainable.
Our first workshop began in October, inspired by the stained-glass windows in Two Temple Place’s great hall. The group responded to the textures, colours, and patterns by creating their own painted prints to collage into paper panels depicting their favourite natural scenery.
