CNWL Arts in Health had their third workshop this month, as part of a cultural programme with cultural partner Two Temple Place. The collaboration is inspired by their new exhibition, The Glass Heart, which will launch in January 2024.
The exhibition is an exploration of glass in the UK, bringing together for the very first time rarely seen works from collections across the UK and celebrating the remarkable quality of glass as fragile, strong, and sustainable.
The cultural centre’s third workshop in December focused on mindful breath as we created our own festive snow globes and baubles in line with our winter seasonal theme. Everyone worked on their own individual creative pieces, using found materials, glass pens and different textures. The group also enjoyed mince pies as we took in the festive cheer of Two Temple Place’s beautifully decorated 10-ft Christmas tree.
