Audrey Mitchell (nee Rugge), Patient Flow Manager at Northwick Park Hospital has won a Woman of Excellence award for her charity work to support families with premature babies.
HertsPrem is a charity that offers care to parents and families affected by premature birth, illness or disability.
The group was founded by Audrey and Rebelah (Bekki), following their own premature baby journeys when they met in Watford General Hospital Special Care Baby Unit in 2010,read more about their story.
Audrey said: “Together we formed HertsPrems as pacesetters who want to transform a generation to be a bench mark - we burn with the desire to help others flourish and thrive. We want to help maximise lives to ensure that no one goes through the rollercoaster alone.”
