On Friday 12 February, One Community Radio celebrated LGBT+ History Month in a heart-warming hour of sharing stories with pride.

Reflecting the diversity of CNWL’s LGBT+ community, we had discussions on Trans and non-binary history, growing up queer and Muslim, living with HIV, LGBT+ activism and LGBT+ patients recovering from club drug use.

Gerard Hargreaves, Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea will be joining us, discussing top tips for allies of the LGBT+ community, his favourite person from LGBT+ history and how to cultivate a culture which embraces diversity.

Dr Chris Wilson and Sofia Venuti Pride@CNWL (CNWL’s LGBT+ staff network) Co-Chairs will also be there leading a discussion on wellbeing support, what the network has done this past month and what it will do beyond.
