CNWL’s Club Drug Clinic is launching a campaign to remind people who are experiencing problems with club drugs of the support it provides.

Over the next few weeks, staff from the clinic are planning on visiting pharmacies, GP surgeries, community centres, student areas, and some shops to distribute information.

Staff will also speak with the staff members of these services to give them updated information on the Club Drug Clinic so they can promote, refer or pass this information onto any potential service users or anyone just needing some advice and information.

It has also started running a student health clinic once a week at Imperial College, London and is set to start one at University College London (UCL).

Team lead Kieran Finnerty said: “We know people are still using club drugs and we want to make sure that they know who to come to when usage might be getting a bit too much.”

The CNWL Club Drug Clinic offers non-judgmental, professional support and advice to people who live in the London boroughs of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster to help deal with the problems associated with club drug use and to help reduce the risks to your body, mind and people around you.

It can help with the psychological, sexual, physical, relationship and work problems related to club drug use and also with chemsex.

It is experienced in working with all club drugs and legal highs including:

• GBL/GHB

• Mephedrone

• Ketamine

• Crystal methamphetamine and other amphetamines

• MDMA

• Cocaine

• Online purchased medicines.

The service will signpost people to sexual health clinics, if required, and also provides clinics at the John Hunter Clinic for Sexual Health, 56 Dean Street and 10 Hammersmith Broadway.
