CNWL has recognised the outstanding achievements of its Allied Health Professionals, Psychological Professions, Social Workers, Peer Workers and Clinical Support staff at the Therapies Awards 2025, held on Thursday 4 December at Trust Headquarters.

The annual event shines a spotlight on individuals and teams who demonstrate exceptional commitment to patient care, innovation, leadership and partnership working.

This year’s awards highlighted contributions from across the Trust:

Winner: Marissa McDonagh, Assistant Psychologist – Psychology, Collingham
Runner Up: Alona Karpenko, Assistant Practitioner – Ealing Podiatry

Finalists included: Alana Cooper, Alona Karpenko, Eleanor McGing, Lorraine Mangan, Lydia Hook and Rachel Childe.

 

Winner: Nicola MacKinnon, Home 1st Inpatient Therapy – Milton Keynes
Runner Up: Rhiann Cronin, Brent Mental Health Support Team

Finalists included: Bhavani Atmakur, Bhajan Jassell, Nicola MacKinnon, Rhiann Cronin and Stephanie Brooks.

Winner: CNWL Arts in Health
Joint Runners Up: Brent Community Psychology Project & Ealing MSK Service

Finalists also included: Antonella Giornetti, Sima Vyas and Taffy Tapfuma.

Winner: Oscar Patton-Lyons, Hillingdon Community Mental Health Team
Runner Up: Sophie Foster, Young Adult Peer Support Workers

Finalists also included: Hannah Cassidy-Matthews, Marianne Farmer and Rashaun Pacquette.

Winner: Ryan Heywood, Paramedic – HMP High Down
Runner Up: Tamsin Duggie, Speech & Language Therapist – St Charles Mental Health Unit

Finalists included: Emma St John, Gaurang Pattni, Geisha DeMello, Jamila Lewis, Sue Potter and Jilsa Dennis.

Winner: Sumeera Malhotra, Podiatry Team Lead – Hillingdon
Runner Up: Kricia Lewis, Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist – St Pancras Rehabilitation Unit

Finalists included: Amber Bryant, Ashima Sharma, Bhavani Atmakur, Dr Angela Byrne, Elizabeth Poultney and Tallis Murphy.

Winner: CAMHS Adolescent Community Treatment Service (ACTS)
Runner Up: Ealing Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Finalists also included: Camden Rapid Access Services Therapy Team, Ealing Adult SLT, Harrow Community Learning Disability Team and the HMP Aylesbury Wellbeing Team.
