CNWL celebrated its Diggory admin staff with a conference and awards ceremony yesterday afternoon.
The three-hour virtual event was intended to shine a light on those who are sometimes overlooked but, without whom, the service could not operate.
Melanie Wilson, who organised the conference, said: “The first Diggory Admin Conference was a huge success today and I can’t thank everyone enough for all their contributions, attendance and presentations.
“I started this year off thinking we needed to do more to recognise our admin teams and when I realised there was an International Admin Day, I took that opportunity to try and make the Diggory admin staff all come together to celebrate what we do every day, sometimes unseen.
“As many contributors pointed out, we are sometimes the forgotten staff but are the people that hold the services together.
“Hopefully next year we can move to a face to face event!”
