The North West London Patient Safety Collaborative (NWL PSC) has announced the appointment of new Senior Responsible Officer, Dr Cornelius Kelly. Dr Kelly’s appointment follows the alignment of the NWL PSC with the NWL ICB over the past year. His leadership will help to further strengthen this partnership to ensure we can collectively optimise impact in relation to our shared patient safety priorities in NWL. Dr Kelly is also Chief Medical Officer of Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust.
NWL PSC is part of the national Patient Safety Collaborative commissioned by NHS England and delivered by Imperial College Health Partners. Its ambition is to increase capability, improve culture and achieve better clinical outcomes through continuous quality improvement, with five key themes: management of deterioration, maternity and neonatal health, medicines optimisation, mental health, and system safety.
