CNWL’s Compassionate People Management Network has been nominated for an award, from the Healthcare People Management Association (HPMA).
The network, created by our Annabel Butcher, Head of HR for Medical Staffing and Corporate was nominated for the Capsticks Award for Innovation in HR.
The judges described the entry as “a fantastic and inspiring innovation.”
The judging panel also said, “This is a brilliant entry and something that is really forward thinking and based on the values of the NHS through and through. Well done to you for the nomination and thank you for the information which is very helpful and sure many more will find this inspiring.
“Really good ideas which could genuinely be shared and replicated in other organisations, to achieve strong outcomes. Some real innovation in there, and great rationale.”
Annabel said the message of compassion was timely, particularly as people face difficult times with the Coronavirus.
“We’re really thankful for this nomination. Being compassionate towards eachother is vital and needed now more than ever as we try to make it through this together,” she said.
The HPMA brings HR professionals together to share experiences, develop skills and discuss the how they can improve the health of the nation through good HR practices.
