The Hesa Center has been able to produce a range of Covid-19 vaccine advice videos translated into Arabic, Farsi, Gujarati, Urdu, Punjabi and English. The video contains the following message:
Hello I am xx a GP in Hillingdon at Hesa Center
As you may know a vaccination for coronavirus is now available.
This is good news but at this time please don't contact the NHS or you GP practice to seek a vaccine, we will contact you when it is your time for the vaccine. It will take the NHS time to get the vaccine to everyone and those most at risk will be contacted first to receive it.
- When we do contact you, please follow the information given to know when and where to get your vaccine;
- The vaccine is safe. The NHS only offers vaccinations to the public once experts have signed off that it is safe to do so
- Vaccine Centers are being set up across the eight boroughs of NW London over the coming weeks.
- We will vaccinate in order of priority, following national guidance
It will take several months to vaccinate everyone, which is why is has never been more important to continue to follow all the guidance to control the virus and save lives, so remember the basics - Hands - Face - Space. It’s vital that we all play our part in stopping the spread of the virus, and that also includes no household mixing. Coronavirus can spread quickly when households mix. To minimize the spread and protect others, please do not socialize indoors with anyone outside your household or support bubble. Let's keep Hillingdon safe.
