The CNWL Disabled Employees Staff Network (DEN+) held a virtual celebration event on Tuesday 22 June.

It was an afternoon celebrating disability within CNWL, understanding how we can empower and support disabled colleagues and drive DEN+ priorities forward in 2021 and beyond.

Invited were three guest speakers:

  • AccessAble: The UK's leading provider of detailed disabled access information, with over 1.8 million people visiting the website each year;
  • Leonard Cheshire: A pan-disability charity supporting disabled people across the UK and around the world;
  • Access to Work: A publicly funded employment support programme that aims to help more disabled people start or stay in work;
  • and a questions and answers session with a select panel from these organisations and the CNWL Equalities, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Team.
