Mr Peter Wood, 63 from Feltham was the very first customer at the Heathrow Mass vaccination centre which opened today. After having his vaccine Peter said, “I’m just really pleased to get this”.

The vaccination centre has been set up by incredible volunteers and dedicated staff from the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) and the Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals, who have all worked around the clock to get the mass vaccination centre open.

Upon Peter’s arrival he received a round of applause by all the staff, volunteers and security.

Located in the Compass Centre, the vaccination centre has the capacity to vaccinate 5000 people every day, 7 days a week from 8am-8pm.
