Mental health nurses, therapists and clinicians across CNWL are working together to improve how neurodevelopmental conditions like ADHD and autism are diagnosed in children and young people.

CNWL is developing one standardised route to diagnosis for neurodevelopmental conditions - so that every child, whether in Westminster, Hillingdon or Milton Keynes, receives the same level of care, that is efficient, timely and consistent.

We’re still in the early stages. So far, we’ve spoken with children’s services teams, and now we want to hear from wider staff groups, and most importantly, from you - parents and carers.

We’ve organised an open online session for parents and carers of children and young people with autism, ADHD, or those on our waiting list for diagnosis. It’s a chance to meet CNWL’s Community Child Health team, share your experiences, and help shape the future of care.

It’s happening on 11 November at 12:30pm – 1:30pm. Click here for the info you need to join.

There’s also a session open to all CNWL staff to hear their views - details are available on the events calendar on Trustnet.
