With Movember around the corner, we want to hear about what mental health means to you.

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide.

The Keeping Well (NWL & BLMK) services are hosting an online men’s health wellbeing session.

Save the date: Thursday 18 November 2021 9.30am to 10.30am

Dr Ryan Kemp, CNWL Director of Therapies will facilitate the session with a range of guests to talk about topics around health and wellbeing. We’ll discuss how learning evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) can help with feelings like anxiety and depression.

Come along to learn some techniques to help if you’re feeling overwhelmed or finding things difficult outside of work, including a special mindfulness session by experienced NHS practitioner Peter Helmer.

The aim of the session is an open and safe place for men to come together ahead of International Men’s Day (19 November) where this year’s theme is making a positive difference to the lives of men and boys.

So join in the conversation to raise awareness, and support men to talk about their health.

The Keeping Well service is here to help staff working in health and social care. You can access self-help resources or talk with wellbeing professionals through live chat (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm),
