Join us today, Friday 4 June, at 1pm to celebrate all the wonderful volunteers that make a huge difference across the Trust.

One Community is proud to celebrate all the volunteers that support One Community projects like the One Community library cart, every week a volunteer goes around the wards in St Charles Hospital to deliver books for patients to read.

Today we will be joined by Volunteer Service Manager Nuria De Miguel, who will be in conversation with Cate Latto, One Community Lead and Linda Guerrero, Check In and Chat Manager. Together they will discuss the impact volunteers have made within One Community, Check In and Chat and around the Trust.

Also joining us is Abigail Agyemang from CNWL’s Carers Council who will be discussing Carers Week which starts on 7 June.

Christina Santana-Smith, Jameson Business, Strategy & Transformation Manager, Abigail Agyemang and Damon Peart will be talking about their Equality, Diversity and Inclusion project. They’ll be updating everyone on how the project has gone so far and the next steps.

Plus, One Community’s very own Poet Laureate Laura Cavill will be there reading one of her own compositions and Damon Peart has prepared a special reading for the radio.
