Redwood and Kershaw Older Adult Wards, based at St Charles Hospital, had hugely successful away days at the Kensington Hilton Hotel, their first since the Covid pandemic.
Redwood Ward held their away day on 20 October, and Kershaw Ward a week later on the 27 October.
The days contained a mixture of presentations and team-building activities, including a fun icebreaker exercise facilitated by Music Therapist, Rosslyn Bender.
Both wards heard presentations on older adult service transformation as well as talks from their respective Service Lead and Matron.
Clinical Educators gave a talk on safety conversations and human factors, ending with an exercise on resilience facilitated by Lead Psychologist, Dr Susan MacAuley.
They wrapped up the day with a team quiz.
