Children at Immanuel College, Elstree Road, Bushy, sent hand written thank you cards to all CNWL staff for the heroic work they have done protecting and saving lives during the pandemic.

One card reads:

‘Dear Heroes, thank you for everything you have done for our country and for saving so many lives. We are forever grateful. Many many thanks, Immanuel College.’

CNWL’s Chief Executive, Claire Murdoch wrote back to the students and said:

‘I wanted to pass on a huge thank you from everyone at CNWL.

Your cards arrived in our Executive office today and you can’t imagine how well they have been received.  What a lovely, thoughtful and generous thing for you all to have done.  Each one individually written with a personal message, so kind and absolutely lovely.

Our Chief Nurse, Maria O’Brien and our Chief Medical Officer, Dr Con Kelly will take these with them as they are out and about visiting our teams and sites and will make sure that they leave one in as many places as possible.  Maria also has a Trust wide COVID newsletter, and she will highlight this in her next edition so that everyone will know that you have been thinking of them.

Thank you again, this is a huge boost (especially this morning)

Best wishes to you and to everyone at Immanuel College.’
