Our Annual General Meeting took place on 24 September 2025. Staff, patients and members of the public were invited to find out more about our work and performance this year:
- Mental Health Crisis Assessment Service (MHCAS): has reduced mental health admissions, helped end out-of-area placements, cut A&E waiting times, and provided less restrictive care – while saving £3.6m.
- Sexual health innovation: helped to launch the world’s first gonorrhoea vaccine and improved HIV prevention through PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis), cutting appointment times from 40 to 16 minutes.
- Neurology and stroke rehabilitation: shared an inspiring patient story from our partnership with Hillingdon Hospital, Stroke Association, social services and H4ALL.
- CNWL NHS Health Charity growth: supporting staff and patients through gardening projects, a new gym, external partnerships such as the Royal Ballet and Opera, and the upcoming Firewalk fundraiser.

In our review of the year, we say:
“It’s no secret it’s been another tough year across the NHS. Between significant financial pressures and major shifts in the way we will be working – change has been the one constant. But despite this, we’ve achieved a huge amount together.
“This year, our work attracted attention from across the NHS and beyond. The Princess Royal visited our services in Brent to explore our work on reducing health inequalities. Government ministers and NHS leaders recognised our impact in areas like addiction, community mental health, and gambling services. We were pleased to welcome the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, who witnessed first-hand how the neighbourhood team is turning national ambitions into a reality.
“Thank you to our staff for their hard work and dedication, and thank you to our services users, families, carers and partners for your ongoing support.”
