The NHS in North West London is looking for 10-12 enthusiastic young people between the ages of 14 and 24 to influence and shape the participation and co-production opportunities for children and young people in local mental health services.
You will work with YoungMinds and members of staff from North West London Clinical Commissioning Group for the first six months, then will work on any other projects going forward to support work to improve access and experience of mental health and wellbeing services across NW London.
YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.
We are currently involved in a project with North West London Clinical Commissioning Group to improve access and experience of children and young people’s mental health services across the eight boroughs (Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, Central London, West London, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hounslow and Ealing).
You will be offered the opportunity to be involved in co-production projects in a variety of ways which suits you. This might include joining an in-person session or meeting (where safe to do so), an online session or video, or providing audio or written feedback.
We are looking for Participation Champions who can volunteer for this project for a minimum of 12 months.
Interested in getting involved? Download the role description and application form. This needs to be submitted by Monday 30 August at 5pm and, if your application is successful, this will be followed up with an informal interview in September.
