William is the new Director of Nursing for Goodall

William Sakala has been appointed Director of Nursing for Goodall.

Goodall is CNWL’s largest division and provides community and mental health services. These include Trustwide Children’s services, Child and Adolescent Mental Health services, mental health rehabilitation, Intermediate Care in Camden, and Hillingdon, and the Community Independence Service in RBKC and Westminster.

Chief Nurse, Maria O’Brien, said, “This is a great appointment and William brings great skill and experience to this role. He did face tough competition in the interview but came through really well to be our unanimous choice. I am thrilled for him - congratulations William.”

William said, “I am a district nurse by background and qualified in 2004, beginning my career in Hillingdon community nursing. I am truly excited about achieving this new, challenging, role, and proud to work for CNWL. Nursing provides the foundation of excellent care and it’s my job to work with all my colleagues in the division to do that.”

William lives with his family (two daughters) in Buckinghamshire. He is a keen Formula 1 fan.
