Our fantastic programme allows newly qualified nurses the opportunity to work in three different environments across both inpatient and community settings.
You will be thoroughly supported to complete the 18 month Rotational and Development (RAD) programme and in addition receive protected study days on each rotation to facilitate your learning and development.
It offers:
- 3 separate rotations across inpatient and community services
- Placements can include: Inpatient, PICU services, HTT, CMHT, EIS and many more
- A training and development pathway that runs alongside these rotations which includes enrolment onto the Trust’s Preceptorship Workshop, upskilling in leadership qualities and an opportunity to complete a selection of psychological intervention training such as DBT, CBT and Motivational Interviewing
- An opportunity for you to receive training and engagement in Quality Improvement projects and to become Practice Assessors by the end of the programme
- The chance for you to work across our four diverse boroughs (Kensington and Chelsea, Brent, Harrow and Westminster) where each area has its own unique learning opportunities, varied client groups and rich cultures
- Regular support and guidance from the programme lead and monthly reflective practice sessions with them and the rest of your RAD programme colleagues
The programme is structured into three six month placements, across inpatient and community care settings, with the support of both a programme and placement mentors. You will enjoy educational and collaborative learning sets which will secure your ability to progress into future band 6 roles.
CNWL is dedicated to developing it’s own staff and you will be encouraged to develop yourself into becoming the nurse you wish to be.
