It is linked to Imperial College London, one of the leading universities in the UK so there are many opportunities for involvement in research and teaching. Through these links, the scheme supports an Honorary Clinical Lecturer post for research and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer post for teaching/education. These posts are advertised internally, and applications are accepted from trainees who have already achieved their literature review research competency. The scheme also supports Academic Clinical Fellows in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, through joint recruitment involving CNWL NHS Foundation Trust and Imperial College London
