About us

We are CNWL NHS Health Charity

The official NHS charity for Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust.

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, known as CNWL, provides NHS services throughout a person’s life, through community and mental health services, across 150 sites in London, Milton Keynes, Surrey and areas beyond.

Over 350,000 patients

CNWL sees over 350,000 patients each year across the community and in hospitals.

Over 9,000 staff

CNWL has over 9,000 staff working across it's services.

Over £3 million in grants

CNWL NHS Health Charity has funded over £3 million worth of grants to support CNWL services.

Our impact

Here at CNWL NHS Health Charity, we raise funds for exciting and pioneering projects which complement and enhance these services, enabling:

Improved staff wellbeing

From funding wellbeing rooms that offer staff a restful space to enjoy their break away from the busy ward, to showing them our appreciation with wellbeing boxes on Christmas day.

Better patient experience

From funding six gyms in mental health psychiatric in-patient units, giving patients something positive to focus on, to creating peaceful environments for patients by transforming garden spaces.

Support for carers

By helping to fund a friendly, compassionate and supportive service for unpaid carers who may be experiencing loneliness, isolation, exhaustion, poor mental health or who just feel they need a listening ear.

Our purpose

Our staff, patients and community are at the heart of everything we do.

Thriving communities working together to create fulfilled lives.
