The flu season is approaching, and vaccination is the best way to protect yourself, your loved ones, and vulnerable people in the community. Last winter, flu caused around 8,000 deaths in England, but vaccines prevented up to 120,000 hospitalisations. Despite this, uptake among NHS staff has fallen below 38%. The flu jab is safe, effective, and quick to get, with only mild side effects.
